Vence is a charming French village with a lively center square, with outdoor restaurants, cafes and shops. In addition to the lovely cobblestone streets, cathedrals, fountains, archways and old ramparts and so many other architectural gems, Vence is also steeped in history and the arts. Many famous artists were attracted to Vence and there are many artist and crafts galeries in the side streets.
St Paul de Vence is also nearby. It is well known for its quality galleries and restaurants. The village is perched on a hillside and has amazing views as well as wonderful centuries old architecture.
The villa is approximately a 15 minute drive to the coast: Cagnes sur Mer beaches and its seaside boardwalk with restaurants, cafes.
The coast has smaller towns of Biot and Villeneuve as well as larger coastal towns of Antibes and even Cannes and Nice. There is something for everyone to enjoy and experience on the Cote d’Azur.
