The larger main town of Grasse is well known as the perfume capital in the south of France. There are several perfumeries that offer tours and sites to visit. Grasse is a historical town with an authentic old town with pedestrian street full of restaurants, cafes and shops.
In the summer months, there is outdoor music, entertainment… nestled into the hillside, there are lovely views to the Medeterranean Sea here from many areas in Grasse.
There is a train station in Grasse, which is very convenient to get to Cannes and the coast.
The villa is approximately a 20 minute drive to the coastal town of Cannes. Other nearby coastal towns and villages area Mandelieu, Anitbes, Biot, Cagnes sur Mer, Juan Les Pins and Theoule sur Mer. The seaside towns and villages have so much going on in the summer, with great seaside boardwalks, tons of restaurants to choose from, medieval castles and churches, cafes, entertainment, water sports and clubs…
There are also many inland villages close by, including… Valbonne which is an exceptional French village, with its authentic charm and character and it’s great location: slightly removed from the coast and more busy areas, but still very accessible to all its amenities.
