Opio
Villa Relaxation in Opio is an incredibly beautiful property, situated in a quiet residential area of Opio.
This amazing stone property has lots of charm and history. The entire property has been beautifully restored, furnished and decorated, keeping the charm of some orignal features and modernizing the bathrooms and kitchen with attention to detail.
Opio village is less than 1 km from the property. It has a supermarket, boulangerie/cafe, pharmacy…. This is easily walkable and takes approximately 15 minutes. There are a few restaurants in Opio, which are either walking distance or an easy drive from the property.
There are many other wonderful villages nearby.
The village of Le Rouret is a 5 minute drive away. It has a supermarket, shops, several restaurants and cafes.
The neighboring villages have some very good restaurants such as Le Clos de St Pierre in Le Rouret and l’Ecole des Filles in Les Bar sur Loup as well as several more family style French restaurants.
The village of Pont du Loup has a mountain river, Le Loup, which runs through it to the sea. At this village, there are natural forming ponds which are lovely for summer swimming.
Another must see in the local area, is the perched village of Gourdon, which has amazing views, restaurants, cafes and is a great start from which to enjoy mountain hikes.
Another slightly larger village nearby is the charming village of Valbonne.
It is approximately a 10 minute drive from the villa. Valbonne is well known for it’s lovely boutiques, shops, center square with lots of atmosphere, great restaurants, cafes… There is also a great local market every Friday, which takes over the streets with great local products and food. The summer months bring lots of entertainment as well, such as the circus, movies, music festivals, plays, exhibits…
The villa is approximately a 25 to 30 minute drive to the coastal towns of Cannes, Anitbes, Biot, Cagnes sur Mer and Villeneuve Loubet. The seaside towns and villages have so much going on in the summer, with great seaside boardwalks, tons of restaurants to choose from, medieval castles and churches, cafes, entertainment, water sports and clubs…
