The charming village of Valbonne is a few minutes drive (or 20 minute walk) from the villa.
Valbonne has a great French atmosphere with many restaurants, cafes, shops, boutiques to enjoy. It also has a lovely main square around which many restaurants have outdoor seating, providing a wonderful atmosphere. Valbonne has local markets, galleries, plays, music and circus events that come to Valbonne. There is a great outdoor market every Friday morning, with delicious local foods, clothing and local pottery, glass ware, and other products.

Villa Fontaine is approximately a 25 minute drive to the coast and the larger towns of Antibes and Cannes. It also has many other great villages to visit within a 20 minute drive such as Mougins, Biot, Rqoquefort, Grasse… which all offer restaurants, cafes, shops, local markets… There is something for everyone to enjoy and experience on the Cote d’Azur.

Other wonderful villages more inland and close by, include… Mougins which is well known for its incredible restaurants. As well, this villa enjoys a proximity to many other lovely villages such as Biot, Opio, Bar sur Loup, Gourdon, Grasse… There is something for everyone to enjoy and experience on the Cote d’Azur.

This lovely villa is located in a quiet residential area, just outside Valbonne, less than a 5 minute drive to the center of town, where there are many restaurants, cafes, shops and outdoor markets.

The large grounds of 5,000m2, are flat and completely fenced, perfect for families with children.

In the summer months, the best place to spend your time is either under the shaded areas of the pool house and outside lounge areas or sunbathing by the large pool.

There is a large summer kitchen which includes a pizza oven and barbecue and several table and chairs to enjoy outdoor meals. One of the lounge areas that open onto the pool area has a large bar, perfect for preparing poolside drinks.

For outside activities, there is a tennis club and horesbacking riding just 2 kms. from the villa and several golf courses within 10 kms.

There is also a guardian in a separate apartment on the property. There are large grassy areas, that are perfect for children to explore and run around.

The garden is well maintained and has colorful local flowers and trees such as jasmin, roses, hibiscus, lavender… It provides lots of privacy and is very peaceful.

Villa Fontaine is a lovely 18th Century Maison de Maitre that has been completely renovated with a lot of taste.

The large villa is approximately 400 sqm, and feels very spacious, perfect for large groups. There are 6 bedrooms, 3 doubles and 3 twins, and 4 bathrooms. There is also a large kitchen, dining room and 3 living areas. It is laid out over 2 floors, with most of the bedrooms located on the first floor.

There is also a piano and pool table in the villa. There is also a bar/lounge area that is connected to the outdoor pool area – great for summer relaxation.

Villa Fontaine is a wonderful property in a very good location, close to the coast, approximately 20 minute drive, and also close to smaller villages and mountains inland. It is perfect for a large group of people to enjoy a holiday on the Cote d’Azur.
