Antibes
Apt Antibes is a wonderful, character apartment in the heart of the great seaside town of Antibes.
This beautiful property is located on one of the most picturesque pedestrian streets, just next to the ramparts near the sea!! It is a gorgeous setting.
Apt Antibes is at the doorstep of everything Antibes has to offer… which ranges from great restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, cultural events, museums, festivals, local crafts markets, fresh produce markets. It is a 2 minutes walk to Antibes beach which is a sheltered cove and a sand beach. There are other beaches in Antibes, such as Plage Salis, which are even longer stretches of sand beaches with private and public beach areas. Plage Salis is approx a 5 to 10 minute walk from the property.
This gorgeous seaside town is well known for its love of all sailing and yachting. There is a great sailing school at Plage Salis which offers courses for optimist, catamarans, windsurfs, paddle boarding….
Antibes is also the private yachting capital in the Mediterranean Sea and it has a great marina just next to the town.
The neighboring seaside town to Antibes is the popular resort town on Juan Les Pins; which is approximately 2 km from the property. You can walk along residential roads to get to the center of this costal town or take the little train which goes back and forth between these 2 towns.
Juan Les Pins also has so much to offer, especially in the summer months. There are outdoor restaurants directly on the beach, cafes, shops, nightlife, and many summer markets and live entertainment, such as the famous Jazz Festival in July.
There is a convenient train station and bus station in Antibes, which provides easy access to all the other coastal towns on the Cote d’Azur, such as Nice, Cannes and Monaco.
